The stopping point “Making it Happen” aims to support youths in terms of developing their ability to exercise: intention to behave leading to behaviour, identifying risks, mitigating risks, choosing positive role models, translating sense of agency into purposeful plans, goal striving behaviour, willingness to risk failure, taking action to maximise own self-potential, developing and maintaining achievement motivation (mastery orientation), learning from role models and influencers about effective action and resilience, and encouraging stickability stories. |
